1. What DJ Waveforms is

DJ Waveforms is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that provides a DJ-style performance interface for a running Ableton Live set. It requires Ableton Live (version 11 or 12), which is licensed separately from Ableton AG. DJ Waveforms is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Ableton AG.

2. The free trial

The unlicensed app is a free trial: fully functional, with playback pausing once after 15 minutes of continuous playback. You may evaluate it for as long as you like, for any purpose, on any number of machines. The trial gate may not be circumvented, removed, or tampered with.

3. Your license

• A license is a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive right for one person to use the app.
• It activates on up to 3 computers at a time. Deactivating a machine (in Settings) frees a slot. If old machines are gone and slots run out, contact support and it will be resolved.
• The license is yours for the versions it covers, forever - it never expires and never requires an internet connection after activation.
• Updates through version 1.x are included at no charge. Later major versions may be a separate purchase; owning 1.x never stops working.
• You may move your license to a new machine at any time. You may transfer the whole license permanently to another person by contacting support (one owner at a time).

4. What is not allowed

• Sharing, reselling, or publishing license keys, or activating one key for multiple people.
• Removing, bypassing, or interfering with the licensing or the trial gate, or distributing tools that do.
• Redistributing the app itself (link to the official downloads instead - they are free).

5. Purchases, taxes and refunds

Sales are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record: the checkout, invoicing, VAT and sales tax are theirs, under their terms. Refunds are simple: 14 days, no questions asked - reply to your receipt or email support. A refunded license key is disabled.

6. Updates and compatibility

The app includes an optional once-daily update check that only tells you when a new version exists; nothing installs itself. DJ Waveforms is built and tested against Ableton Live 11 and 12. Future versions of Live, macOS, or Windows may require an app update to stay compatible; keeping 1.x working with them is the intent, but compatibility with software Ableton, Apple, or Microsoft have not released yet cannot be promised.

7. Your files and your Live set

The app is designed never to modify your Live project file or your audio files, and to restore anything it touches during playback (clip markers used for beat-exact launching) when playback stops or the app quits. Keep backups of sets and music regardless - see section 8.

8. No warranty, limited liability

DJ Waveforms is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Live performance involves many moving parts that are not this app - soundcards, drivers, MIDI hardware, Ableton Live itself - so rehearse your setup before performing with it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability for any claim related to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it, and indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost bookings or lost recordings) are excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Intellectual property

The software, its design, and this website are © Oleksiy Khmelov, all rights reserved. "Ableton" and "Live" are trademarks of Ableton AG. "Serato" is a trademark of Serato Audio Research. "rekordbox" is a trademark of AlphaTheta Corporation. Their use here is purely descriptive of compatibility.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [FILL: jurisdiction], excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Purchases through Lemon Squeezy are additionally subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms.

11. Changes and contact
